Amazing Team!!! Family business. I came home to find the maple in my yard had uprooted and was really in danger of being a bad situation. After calling others and unable to reach a person. I called and Jessica answers and was so kind and understanding on the phone and got in touch with Brad who called me within 30 mins of my phone call. They carefully removed a large damaged tree from my back yard. I was amazed at how they got it done, you can't even tell any work was done. They were very careful not to make tracks in my grass. Brad also came to my house after wind damage to another tree and gave me good advice on what needs to be done, the same day! He is very knowledgeable and an expert at what he does. He pointed to a small little "weed" growing from the ground and let me know it was a volunteer willow sapling. Gasp! Brad and his team were very professional. We had Davis Family Arbor Services, LLC trim the deadwood and heavy limbs in the canopy of 14 large (approx 40' tall) water oaks in our back yard, and remove several other trees from our property. Brad Davis came out today to give an estimate on some work I wanted. I was not sure what the price was going to be but was concerned it would be pricey. I told him my reasoning for the work and the goals. He could have easily sold me service to collect the fees and move on. Instead, he spent an hour with me, educated me on the health of my specific trees, what his plan would be to help my trees improve their health, and how I could (within my current budget, and regardless of whether I use his services) work toward improving the long term health of my trees. He also followed up with educational videos and other information to help me learn to care for my trees. I deeply appreciated his integrity and dedication to my trees and know that he will be my first call for an arborist in the future!

Brad and his crew arrived at the exact time they said they would, and wasted no time starting the job. We needed one very large tree to be taken down, as well as 1/2 of another large tree removed and trimming/clean up on several others. Prior to the actual work date, Brad prepared a detailed proposal for work to be performed and price. No surprises. Davis Family Arbor did a terrific job, and even a bit of wind was no problem for the crew. Clean up was quick and thorough and the price was extremely fair. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again.

Brad Davis and family removed several large trees that had fallen in the 100 mph winds from a couple of years ago. They also trimmed up a number of trees which were damaged as well and picked up several piles of limbs and debris. They also ground 6 or 7 stumps that were left from other trees that had to be cut up last year. Brad, Jessica and their son Daweson worked all day and did their work with safety in mind. They have excellent equipment and knew what they were doing rather than some of the others I've had in the past. My property looks great now. I will hire them again in the future.

I have never written a review before but feel compelled to write one for Davis Family Arbor Services. I scheduled an appointment for Brad Davis to give me a quote for removing a tree in my front yard. When Brad showed up, he spent time convincing me that removing the tree is not necessary and explaining to me why. Brad spent over an hour with me showing me the strengths and weaknesses of the tree. When pointing out the weaknesses, he told me what can be done to strengthen them. He explained how to properly prune the tree and did some pruning to show me how it should be done. He could have easily given me a quote to remove the tree and make money off of me but instead was totally honest and spent time educating me on proper tree care. That is a character trait that is not as common as it should be and is truly appreciated.

I contacted Brad Davis about possibly removing a large tree. Brad showed up at the scheduled time and convinced me the tree does not need to come down. I will continue to use Brad Davis and his company for future tree work at our home

My house has five large trees, two very close to the roof. I needed someone that could care for my trees and do it without damaging my home. The Davis family did an amazing job, quick and professional. And the results helped me save money on my home insurance! 100/10 recommend.

The Davis Family just finished taking out 3 trees and trimming 2 others for us. To say we are pleased would be an understatement. They were professional and thorough. Brad was incredibly informative and prompt. We had him come out to originally get a tree removal estimate, but he educated us on the integrity of our tree and how its presence was actually benefitting our home. Its shade keeps the house substantially cooler in the summer. He recommended some light pruning instead, and explained how a costly removal would eventually lead to higher energy bills too. Brad came out to the house we moved into and and walked us thru every single tree: What species they are, how to care for them, things to look out for. We were worried about one of the trees in our front yard becoming an issue for our house but he showed all the signs that the tree was doing well, was not a hazard to the house, and how it was benefiting the home and yard with shade and preventing erosion. 8 days ago we were hit by EF1 Tornado that caused my tree to blow over and uproot halfway causing a break in my water line under the roots of the tree. I had a plumber come out and look at it. He wouldn’t touch the issue until I had the leak detected. Which was a very expensive charge of $225 the first hour and $180 charge for each hour thereafter. My kids were able to cut most of the tree down with a chainsaw, leaving the big stump. Brad Davis came to the rescue and went above and beyond the call of duty and not only located the leak, marked it, hooked me up with a local plumber and left me with a huge blessing of NO CHARGE! Thank you so much for all your help Brad Davis! You were there for me when I had no one else to help. I will never forget your kindness and generosity! I will tell everyone I know about your company. I was out of town when they did the work and on my return home, I was extremely happy to see that everything we had discussed was done. They were professional and left the property clean. Was considering either removing a Red Maple tree or having it properly pruned and keeping it. Brad of Davis Family Arbor Svcs, LLC personally visited our residence (as scheduled) and spent a generous amt. of time analyzing the tall tree for several things, incl. using iPad technology to calculate the amt. of shade the tree provided during summer months. His wealth of knowledge may at first leave you speechless, as you've possibly never imagined there were so many facets of knowledge related to trees. Speechlessness may then give way to the chain of questions that you'll have for Brad, just as I did...all of which, Brad answered patiently and with a professorial knowledge. By the way, Brad, i.e., Davis Family Arbor Svcs is THE exclusive pathway within Oklahoma for aspiring Arborists to attain their credentialing through his internship. Sure, there's multiple arborists to consult about anything related to trees, but IF you're looking at your tree(s) and valuing the time it took to grow-to-size, and valuing them as a sort of investment, and you're wanting the highest-level of knowledge and expertise to help you make the most-informed decision related to these living-beautifying-shading-etc. investments, then there's no one (and I consulted several arborists) who will be more generous with their time and expertise as Brad. What's more, is that, beyond the generosity and wisdom, Brad was exceptionally professional, NON-pushy...he encouraged me to take patient time in considering everything he explained to me in person re the Red Maple tree, plus Brad followed-up with some very valuable reading materials via email. Our tree was cut as requested and neatly stacked to the side with all ends facing the same way for easy pickup (we keep our wood for farm use). The stump was also ground out and then the ground was leveled. They left the place neat and orderly. They are friendly and interactive. We had a tree that needed removal and Brad came as a recommendation from a friend. Even though in the end PSO took down our tree, Brad was so helpful in guiding us and suggesting we call PSO since it was located close to power lines. I am very happy with the whole process with Davis Family Arbor Services. They responded and came by quickly when I first called. Brad made a point of helping educate not only about the trees I had, but also about some of the benefits to having them that I was not aware of. It was a pretty big job, but when they were finished they made sure that my yard was back to how it looked before they started. They were able to take down all of the dead and damaged sections from a very large lightning struck tree without doing any damage to our fence or the 2 houses that were on either side. I wanted to try and save my broken tree, but Brad Davis explained why it needed to be removed instead. The bill would have been 10 times more if he repaired the tree, but in a knowledgeable and professional manner he explained to me why saving the tree was not a workable idea. The crew that performed the work was top notch. The crew worked safely, which I always appreciate. I worked on job sites for years and know first hand the importance of safety: accidents are not a good thing. I highly recommend Davis Tree Service: they are simply the best.

We had an old tree removed. They did a good job.

Brad and his crew did an awesome job. His was the lowest of 3 quotes for the job as well as being the most responsive in explaining what would be done and how. When the job was finished, what had been expected as per Brad's explanation prior to taking the quote was exactly what was done at the end of the job. I found Brad to be very personable and caring about the stress of the work being done, with reassurance that it would be done in the correct way with very little impact to our yard and zero impact to the safety of our house. With a fantastic sense of humor, for both himself as well as his crew, the job was done within the day to remove the two trees, one being 30-35 ft and the other 20-25 ft. This is a very professional and meticulous company. Today they removed my very tall Ponderosa Pine that was dead and lightly trimmed two other mature trees. Davis Family Arbor was a lifesaver. In February, 2023 Austin, TX got hit with a horrible ice storm. We had broken tree limbs and downed trees. They came all the way from Tulsa, OK with expert tree service staff and equipment to render aid. All it took was a neighborhood Facebook post for me to jump on their services. I could not walk into my backyard because due to the amount of downed branches. And I had so many branches dangling precariously ready to fall. Johnny Bennett was my company contact and was absolutely wonderful to work with. He advised me as to what they would be doing for the trimming. This is a family owned and operated business. The whole family came out, introduced themselves, and helped with the trimming project. They were able to give me an estimate from pictures I texted. They came out within a couple hours from the time I made the first inquiry. Brad had a great machine for getting high up in the tree, with many safety features that he used. Brad did a good job and met my expectations of how the job should be done. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

I asked for a quote to prune my tree and cut some low branches off. Mr Davis came out and did extensive education on my tree. He said the tree was in good shape, did not need pruning, and why I should not cut the limbs off. He was very honest and I appreciate that more than anything.

Just, wow. I can't say enough good things about Davis Family Arbor Services!! We live in Austin, Texas, and we just went through the worst ice storm I can remember in my 62 years (along with over 100,000 here being without power or heat for days). The ice accumulation on our city's beloved oak trees caused catastrophic damage, and a staggering number of large branches fell under the weight, many damaging structures. Austin's arborists were overwhelmed, and so Brad Davis brought his crew to Austin to help out. I got Brad's name from a respected local arborist who was backed up with jobs until the end of March. Brad, John and their crew just finished cutting down multiple large branches that had half-torn off of our large live oak tree and were hanging down, cutting them back to the proper point, and sealing all of the wounds. They also removed several other trees that were uprooted by the ice storm or had died previously. They took care not to damage our native landscaping or sprinkler system. Every member of the crew was so kind and professional. Also, there are reports of price gouging here, but Brad charged us a fair price and said he does not believe in doing that. I wish Brad and his crew were in Austin all the time! Tulsa, you are lucky to have Davis Family Arbor Services in your city!!

I am absolutely blown away by my experience with Davis Family Arbor Services. We initially called just to get an idea of what it would take to remove a tree. The professionalism, communication, and knowledge are absolutely amazing. This has to be the best arborist in the state hands down. They will have my business for life.

We initially asked Brad for a quote to cut down a mature tree. He did give us a quote, but he also educated us about ways to improve its health. With his helpful advice, we are now hoping to save it.

He got back to me and gave a quote promptly on Friday, and completed the work Monday. Once the tangled confusion of broken limbs was cleared, he went further to clean up associated trees. I've been looking for someone who really understands what is going on with the health of the tree and not just someone who comes by and gives some lip service. After my initial consulting with Brad, it was clear he wanted to get down to the main issues involving my magnolias. His team (which includes family members) came out and spent an entire day uncovering the base of the trees, adding oxygen to the soil, and then composting and mulching them in. The health of the trees is already evident compared to what they looked like the same time last year. The next stage is to get after the scale that has taken up residency in the trees over the last several years. Realizing that treating that is a multi-step process, I've given him the green light to come by as often as needed to reduce the population.

We'e had several arborists and tree companies out in the last several years from storms and Brad was easily the most informative and knowledgeable. He didn't try and talk us into any unnecessary projects and walked us through the best ways to maintain the trees that we have. We will be using him for everything in our yard going forward.

Had to have limbs from some very large trees removed for insurance reasons and didn't want them just chopped off at roof line. Brad and his team are the only company in Tulsa I would trust for tree removal or advice. On the day of the massive 100 mile an hour wind storm that damaged midtown Tulsa, Brad was on our street clearing the road for free and didn’t charge anyone. A few months later I had him out to give us a quote on a tree, but rather than be pushy and recommend we had to remove it - he was honest and recommended that if it was his house he would leave it. This gave us peace of mind and also speaks to his character that he wasn’t out to make a quick buck.

My grandmother has a lot of trees in her yard. She told me she needed some trees trimmed, so I scheduled Brad to come out and give an estimate. When Brad arrived, my grandmother said she only wanted one fallen branch, which was stuck in a tree, removed. Brad brought his saw from his truck, cut up the branch and hauled it off for us right then. My grandmother and I both asked Brad what we owed him. He said we owed him nothing and that he hoped he brought a little happiness to our day. It was evident that Brad loves trees. He exuded knowledge and professionalism. The thing that struck me most about Brad though was his seemingly genuine kindness. He is one of the kindest people I have ever met, and he turned an awkward situation into a pleasant experience. Great service, would HIGHLY recommend. They gave us a quote on Tuesday evening and came out Wednesday to remove a tree limb that fell on our shed. They were very efficient and thorough. Jessica and Brad are both very personable and knowledgeable. I was extremely impressed!

My husband and I are so happy that we called an expert out for an evaluation/education on our trees. We have three trees on our property that are over 80 feet tall. After the wind storm in May we wanted to make sure and keep them healthy and structurally sound. We also had another tree in the front that needed care as well. Not only was Brad able to give us a complete anatomy of our tree and what was going on from previous damage but he also identified why our sycamore tree was under stress. He also gave us advice for our river birch tree on how and when to properly water. We also had planted a willow in the back yard and he took the time to show us that we had planted the trunk to deep and also showed us a better location for sun exposure. Brad and his crew came right out and dropped a tree that was a problem around my barn. Great guy and did the work very quick. Knows his stuff and the family is great! Brad and his crew trimmed, aerated, and mulched three trees, and dug out the base of two very large old trees that had been buried too deeply with the building of our house. Grass was removed to give them breathing and watering room, so they have a much greater chance of thriving. I'm very grateful, as I'd hate to lose such beautiful big trees. They also corrected and staked a small tree that had been improperly planted. We were delightfully surprised to see that they took the grass they dug up under the trees and filled in a spot in our yard that needed grass. They went above and beyond and spent all day working hard. I hardly saw them take a breather. They were pleasant to work with and did an excellent job. We'll use them again.

This company jumped right in helping for free when our tree blocked off the street after the huge storm. We are so grateful to them for the kindness they showed us that day. Long story made short. I have severe anxiety and my support animal is my cat Jack. Well my grandkids left the door open and he got out. Something must have scared him because he shot up our 70 year old pecan tree (very tall). I called several tree services and was shocked at the response I received. One actually said “well rest assured that I’ve never seen a cat skeleton in a tree”. I finally called Don Massey who I have used before. He couldn’t help me so, he referred me to this company. I called and explained that my cat had been up in this huge tree for two days and I have not been able to sleep because he hasn’t been near me. The lady I spoke to had so much compassion for my situation that she said she would make sure that they would come and get him out but it would be late and after work hours. She made sure she communicated with me the time and let me know when they were on their way. When they got there the owner was kind and compassionate and did not waste time to get my Jack down. I will call them for any arborist needs that we have in the future and will make sure to tell all my friends and family. Integrity was in every action and that is hard to come by today. I chose Davis Family Arbor initially because of their web site and the prompt response I received from my inquiry. I was impressed by Brad Davis on his visit and assessment of our tree removal. The tree was large and leaning over the pergola and roof of my sister's house. Brad and helper arrived on time today for the tree removal. He had high-tech equipment that he was very skilled in using. He worked hard for more than five hours until the project was completed. His experience and skill was obvious as he rigged his ropes and made cuts with his saws at just the right places. He did more than we expected as he also trimmed another huge tree close by while he was elevated in his hydraulic bucket. After grinding out the stump, everything was cleaned up immaculately. His responsibility and work ethic are rare in the times in which we live. I highly recommend Davis Family Arbor for any tree service you may require.

I recently had 4 huge trees removed from my rental property. One had a large limb hanging over the roof, another was leaning toward the house. I was concerned there would be damage to the new roof I had just put on. Brad Davis assured me everything would be ok. He and his crew were amazing. I had two trees that needed to be removed and ground out. Brad and his team showed up when he said they would. The temps started out decent enough, but by noon it was starting to get on up there. That didn't stop this team. When the day was over and the job was done the work that was performed was amazing. They removed all debris and cleaned up the site leaving it looking great. Brad and his team removed a 40ish foot tall 3-trunk River Birch from my back yard. They removed the entire tree and ground out the stump and some surface roots. They were done, including cleanup in a few hours. Brad is a certified Arborist and knows his stuff. When the job was done, we looked at the other trees in my yard and he gave me some tips about care and pruning of the trees and also sent me some tree care literature. As part of our contract, he replaced the tree he removed with a new Chinese Pistache. Watching an Arborist plant is tree is an enlightening experience. You can see the care and attention paid to making sure the roots are going to properly spread so the tree will thrive. i highly recommend hiring Brad for any tree-related work you need done in your yard. Amazing Team!!! Family business. I came home to find the maple in my yard had uprooted and was really in danger of being a bad situation. After calling others and unable to reach a person. They trimmed 16 trees in my yard in one day, cleaned up and left my yard like it had been groomed by a gardener. Their equipment is modern and high tech, and all their equipment functioned all day without failure, no work stoppage or delays. The team wore the appropriate personal protection equipment, hearing protection, safety harness, appropriate safety rated ropes for high limb removal. They took down a tree very close to my workshop without incident. I would highly recommend this service to anyone and Brad the owner/operator. Brad knows how to talk to his customers and is very well versed in his profession.

I can not say enough good things about Brad and his crew, they went above and beyond our expectations. We had a cluster of heavily damaged trees removed, five trees trimmed and three trees cabled. The trees that were removed were laying on our shed and he was remove these and was also able to save our shed which we didn't think was going to be possible. Our house and yard look fantastic and I swear there wasn't a stick or broken limb left on the ground anywhere! Brad is professional always kept us up to date and in the loop on what was happening. This is the second time I've used Brad and his team for my arborist needs. I recently moved and only have one tree in my yard, however, I learned a valuable lesson from my previous house. I had a tree fall on that house that had already been looked at by a generic "tree guy" who said it was fine. It was not. The only good thing out of that experience was Brad. Not only did he take care of the tree that fell on my house, he also identified another tree in the front yard with a crack in it that would have fallen if left untouched. That tree was also looked at by above mentioned "tree guy". So, I wanted to prevent any more tree falling and knew I could trust Brad to have a look and let me know his opinion. After his recommendation, he performed a preservation and root enhancement service to my one and only tree and it looks so much better. I thought I new how to care for trees, but I found out there was a lot I did not fully understand. I was referred to Davis Family Arbor Services, and after checking the reviews I knew I needed to at least get a quote. When Brad came by, I immediately felt like I've known him for awhile. He walked around with me while I described what I wanted, listened carefully, and went above and beyond in regards to explaining what would work best. He sat in his truck for the next 45 minutes while he composed a formal quote and I had it in my email before he drove off. I called back after a week (they didn't hound me after providing a quote!) and got a date scheduled for them to come out. The communication with Brad and Jessica was amazing. The team worked very hard in very hot and humid weather. The final result was amazing! Would 100% recommend and I will use them again when needed.

I have a massive hundred year oak tree in my backyard which had huge limbs hanging over my house, some of which were completely dead. I contacted 4 companies and Davis was by far the fastest in getting back to me, coming out to the house and giving me a bid. Davis was almost $1000 less than the next closest quote I got. When they came out they took care of shutting off the power and planning ahead. In one days work they removed an enormous amount of material without tearing up my yard. They were very professional and emailed me many pictures of the before and after in the quote and invoice. Overall, I feel much safer in my house without the threat of huge dead limbs crashing into my room. They did an excellent job for a fair price. I couldn't ask for anything more!

Wow! Friendly, fun, and professional from the beginning. He showed up on time and handed me his impressive “big ass” business card. I'd contacted three people to get a quote for the work needing done. One gave me a quote over the phone taking my word for the large stumps needing removed. Didn't seem interested in even meeting me to really see what a mess needed cleaned up: bushes/stumps etc. Another never even got back with me. Brad was obviously the only one ready to roll. He shows up, has his gear ready to rumble. A little more than three hours later it's over with and the mess is gone; situation under control! I'm very glad to have stumbled into him via Google. I hired Brad Davis of Davis Family Arbor Services to do a tree risk and health assessment on a silver maple at a property I'm in the process of buying, and it turned out to be one of the most valuable things I have done during the whole process. Brad is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, and you can tell the minute he gets to work. He was there for well over an hour, took scans of the tree, and walked me through his entire thought process as he went — what he was looking at, what it meant, and why it mattered. I didn't just get a consultation, I got an education. He talked about wanting an ongoing relationship with the tree for as long as it's standing, which tells me a lot about how he approaches his work. He knows trees. He even walked around the house looking for signs of previous impacts and future risks. The reasons to consider in choosing this company are as follows: 1. Brad Davis is a certified arborist and it was quickly apparent to me when he walked the property and talked about each tree that he has an excellent understanding of trees, their health, and their diseases. He could point out what each tree needed to help it live healthy. That was important to me. Pruning for shape or appearance is nice, but I liked that the trimming was prioritized first for the tree health. Healthy trees are less likely to be future problems. 2. This is a hard working young family. His wife and son helped with the work, and they also brought in another crew to shorten the time to completion and have additional equipment available on the job. I am happy my needs and later my payment helped support these crews and their families. 3. The professionalism throughout was appreciated. My quote came in quickly after the evaluation, I was placed on their schedule the same day and just a couple of weeks out, and then the team arrived just as advertised on the work day. Communication is valuable and I am confident that even if there were challenges (emergency request from another client, bad weather, etc), I would have been included in the discussion as soon as possible. You can trust this family. 4. As mentioned, the work was done in short order (but not rushed). Having a good team with different worker responsibilities meant there were some members of the crew trimming and cutting while others were cleaning up the refuse. By the end (3 hours or so), the trees and trimmed branches were all loaded in a truck and even the sawdust was raked up! Very impressive! 5. Lastly, the entire crew practiced safety. The wore the proper equipment, operated the machinery responsibly, and emphasized standard safety practices.
